A Coach For Your Team

The warm weather is right around the corner, and so is the excitement of the boys and girls of summer playing in out of town tournaments.

When it comes to planning that big out of town tournament there are just so many things to think about. As the coach or manager, you’ll be juggling hotel bookings, putting together your lineups and strategizing your game plan.  Team transportation is probably the furthest thing from your mind. Well…we’d like to help “coach” your team…motor coach that is.  Hiring a motor coach for team transportation makes a lot of sense.  Here are a few points to consider.

Save Money
You may think that investing in a motor coach would end up costing you more money in the end. However, you could actually end up saving money.  Dividing the cost of the coach bus between everyone going on the trip can end up being very affordable. When driving yourself, you have to worry about the combined price of gas and food which can add up quickly especially if multiple vehicles are driving.

Relieve The Stress
Though road trips are a lot of fun, they can also be very stressful. It is especially stressful if you and your team families are traveling in separate vehicles. Driving in unfamiliar areas leaves the potential of someone getting lost, not to mention all of the traffic you are going to encounter along the way. This can turn a road trip into a stressful experience. Booking a motor coach allows you to simply sit back and enjoy the ride to your destination rather than having to worry about all of the extra stress that comes with driving.

Team Spirit
Team spirit isn’t reserved for the field — you should bring it with you the entire weekend. Since you’ll be spending quite a bit of time on the team motorcoach, this will give you opportunities to create team bonding activities.  And your one-on-one player conversations, or motivational speeches can take place at any time during the roadtrip.

Picking The Right Coach
Choosing the right vehicle for your road trip can be a bit like game planning for a big matchup; it requires you to assess your team, evaluate the challenges ahead, and make a timely decision that sets your players up for success. Start with your roster — how many players do you have? Depending on how old and how big they are, how much room will they require? Consider the trip itself: How far are you traveling, how much equipment are you bringing, and what other needs will the team have? Our main vehicle types offer a range of amenities, like air conditioning, entertainment systems, and bathrooms. The motor coach accommodates the team bringing lots of sports equipment along.

For a team of 15 players or less, Our Sprinter Vans may be the vehicle best suited for you. A sprinter van is a type of luxury passenger van that has spacious legroom and ample storage space.

When you got into coaching, it was probably for the love of the game. You know how to teach the fundamentals and help your players improve on them. You likely didn’t get into coaching so you could plan trips — but that’s the reality of managing a traveling team. Don’t dread the logistics…put us in, coach!
